You will be transferred to a family friendly hotel or lodge on the shores of Lake Victoria. After checking in, let the kids run free in the gardens or take a dip in the swimming pool. In the late afternoon, take a short guided nature walk along the lake shore where you can spot monitor lizards, kingfishers, and vervet monkeys. Day 2: Entebbe to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary – Meeting Gentle Giants

After a hearty breakfast, you will drive north for approximately three hours to the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. This is a comfortable drive with a rest stop halfway. Upon arrival, you will meet your armed ranger who will lead your family on a walking safari to find the southern white rhinos. Unlike a vehicle safari, walking allows children to see tracks, dung, and learn how rhinos live. You will approach a rhino family from a safe distance, guided by the ranger. The children will be amazed at how large these animals are. After the walk, enjoy a picnic lunch at the sanctuary. In the afternoon, you can take a short canoe ride on the sanctuary’s small lake or visit the shoebill stork viewing platform. Then, you will drive to Murchison Falls National Park, arriving at your family lodge in the late afternoon. The lodge has a swimming pool and family tents or rooms. Day 5: Chimpanzee Trekking and Community Visit
